Need Wavebox help.

Will a single wave box work on a 5'x5'x30" cube tank with a center overflow? Or would I need two wave boxes or should i scrap the waveboxes and use the tunze stream pumps??

You will need the extension for that dimension... I have the 4x4x2, with one wavebox it will not work....

Will i have to keep my water level lower? Im not even sure how these boxes work.Is there actually a wave that could splash out of the tank?

You don't need to lower the water level. Make sure your water level is line up with the line on top of the wavebox. When your wavebox in action the water level will drop by itself.... trust me, there will be no splashing..

With an dual wavebox... You should get at least 2".... Here is my tank in action with dual wavebox.... Remember the longer the length, the bigger the wave... But if your tank is too long, you will get no wave J/K
