In Memoriam
I have been using ozone for 3 weekes, set at 380 ORP. In the past couple days i have notice some strange things. My one colony of Acro has white around the base but on the top it is very healthy, but my biggest concern is how the softy's are acting. They are acting like they are not getting enought light, but I think they are getting to much. I am running 2 250 watt mh, 110 watts of T5, 130 watts of PC in a 90 gallon tank. Should I discontinue ozone? Tank priameters are:
1.026 salinity
Phosphate 0
Nitrate and Nitrite 0
Calcium 450
Magnesium 1350
Alklinity 8
Ph 8.3

The weird thing is my two skimmers are pulling out almost clear water, no dark skimmate. Please take a look at the pictures and tell me why my softy's are doing this, and my acro is turning white at the base.
Thank you
Josh

I don't think you should be using ozone unless you know what it can do? what size ozonizer, and what type of controller? have you cleaned the probe lately?

ozone will make your water super clear and you could shock you corals with to much light. You have to start ozone very slow, I use ozone with no controller I set it very low water is clear and no risk of overdosing its a 100 mg unit 250 gal of water setting is 25-50 mg hth.

the corals on the bottom of the tank are shocked to what can i do to dirty the water some . couldi drop a little skimate in from my frag tank

Are you still running the ozone? I would turn it off, maybe do a water change & cut down the halides. Carbon probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.
