Needle Wheel vs Beckett

I have a few problems with your test.
1. you are using a DIY Needle wheel impeller and from the looks of it there are a lot less needles on the impeller than on all other needle wheels that you buy which could effect the test.
2. your not using a airflow meter to see which may perform better at the same rate of air flow.
3. you don't say if your using a venturi or what for drawing air into the needle wheel.
4. your not measuring how much flow of water each is putting out.
5. you don't say which makes smaller bubbles.

but i do enjoy when people do these test, and appreciate it when they post the results for discussion. nice work Quangtam7. we will have to keep you up past midnight more often. :)

Thanks
Like I said, I want to compare both methods using same pump.
1. I did run a Sedra 5000 (39w) and Aquabee 2000 (18w) together in bucket and they take even longer to make foam, so I know Mag 12 is doing pretty job, but with right nw it could be better.
2 Even though Beckket air opening is 1/8" needle valve while NW's is much larger (see pic), NW draws lot of air but there is no way to make it suck more than beckett (unless airpump is involved).
3, Yes, there is venturi just like any nw pump.
4. No doubt, Beckett pushes higher volume, flow of NW depends the air volume.
5. I would say NW, it's hard to see.
As you can see, for same pump beckett produces much faster foam and uses just little more power than NW (66w vs 53w).
