Nem. Chem. warfare, will this work

I've read many posts about people trying to keep diff. nems in the same tank only to have problems with chem.warfare. Do the nems sense each other by detecting the others chemistry in the water or is there some other means?? They cant see or hear each other but they can feel each other if they get too close.

I would like to have several small tanks, 29 gal, that house only 1 nem each or one colony of nems in each tank. These 3 or 4 tanks would over flo into a large sump w/skimmer and refuge and then returned back to each indiv. tank.....Would this work or will I still have chem warfare even tho nems r in sep. tanks??????

do you know how big anemones get?

29g is a bad choice for anemone tanks try 40brs they will work better

there is no way to predict the chemical warfare but running carbon 24/7 will help

I will if it works. I'm hoping someone with a lot of nem experience can tell us if it will. I guess it depends on volume of water involved here....I dont really want to have to run carbon,
