Hello,

I just aquired RBTA two days ago - it seems to be doing good in my tank generally - but very quickly he moved to the bottom of my leather coral and he is hugging it more and more and sort of climbing on it. I asked guy from whom I got the 'nem if I should do something, he says no, but I am worried as the nem is covering more and more of the leather. The nems are very stingy, right? On the other hand, I am afraid to damage anemone's foot in the attempt to remove it - never done it before and the thought makes me nervous. Please advice what I should do. So far leather is expanding, but I think a bit less than before. How I can say if it is disturbed by the anemone before it is too late?

I think there is dark line on the leather near the place nem almost touches - inclined to try to remove it asap but very nervous about it

that's a tough call. Can you move the leather or is it attached to the whole rock?

I would watch it and if it starts getting worse, I would try to move someone.

I used ice in a bag and credit card to make the nem retract a bit, but it is still firmly attached to the leather rock. Have to work right now, will try to do more in the evening. I was very worried about black marks on the leather- checked photos from yesterday, were not there- i understand they are sting bites?

Is this that bad? Leather has been stung on one side only - should cutting it help? It seems mostly oK except for the dark line where anemone "kissed" it (one side only).
