That's what I thought, but others are calling it a sebae on my local reef site.
Nothing like my sebae, but mine is a crispa, some are calling this a malu.

Neat color combo for a BTA, but the white tentacles are worrisome for bleaching with the green tips the last to go. Is its foot buried in the sand and on the tank bottom (Heteractis), or is the foot on a rock (BTA)?

I second the question by ssavader about its attachment. I've personally never seen a BTA that looks like that, but I know there are lots of color variants. Do you know for sure if it is a host species?

I'm curious as to see the underside? Are there veracue? All 3 of my H. Malu have white columns with rings of white veracue.

It could be a BTA, in fact I am pretty sure that it may be a BTA, but we do need a pic of the foot/column to confirm an ID.

It is bleached though, no doubt about that.

It looks pretty BTA...there have been some roses in the trade recently with similar (but less intense) white markings on the tentacles. However, if it's attached in the sand that does confuse things a bit. More pictures would help.
