Nem issue... flow related?

My GBT Nem is not looking so good at the moment. He has been spending a lot of time balled up and when he does extend his tenticles some of them are cruled at the ends and none of them are inflated.

I had to redirect my power heads due to sand bed issues and now one of them is pointing directly at him. Would this cause him to exitbit the behavior described? He also will not take food. He was eating silversides very well and now he will not even take small krill.

I don't have current water params but I can get some if that will also help.

Yeah, they don't really like the water directed right at them. Don't be surprised if it decides to move to a more desirable spot.

Thats the thing, I figured he would move if he didn't like the flow. However he hasn't moved at all since he found his spot after 5 days in the tank. This was like 3 months ago almost. The flow was changed probably 4-6 weeks ago give or take.

Can you try to point the flow in another direction and see if the anemone resumes its normal look?

I did that last night, I pointed the most direct powerhead away, the one from across the tank I don't have many options. Anything other then directly accross the tank and it causes sandbed issues. I'll update in a few days. He did eat a piece of krill last night.

I think I know what part or most of the problem may be. I observed one of my supossed peppermint shrips picking at the Nem and he currled up into a ball. I realized that what was shipped to me as peppermint ships are actally camelback shrimp. I did some research on them and they are not friendly to Nems. I'm going to try to remove them and place them in my Fuge until I can find someone who wants them or take them to a LFS.
