Nem Lighting

I have this for a 10gal tank. From the light to the bottom of the tank is 15".

I want to put a piece of live rock an anemone and some clown fish in the tank. I'm sure this light will not support the rock or nem. I have found a couple of LED bulbs(WATT-MANâ"žÂ¢ Products | The LED Lamp - WATT-MAN LED Lighting) for this socket but I don't know anything about LED.

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Little update

I ordered a Eheim compact + 3000 pump, ecoxotic panorama pro LED light for the tank. Hopefully it will all arrive this week and I can get some live sand, a small piece of live rock and water from the local fish store this weekend and get it up and running.

Is this your first saltwater tank? If so I wouldn't recommend having an anemone in a 10 gallon tank, that's best left for veteran saltwater guys as keeping stability in the tank will be an issue. That return pump is what 400gph minimum? That's going to be some pretty fast flow in that tank that only a few species will enjoy (harder to keep species at that). Also don't think those lights are going to do much for supporting corals or anemones.

I suggest you step back for a moment and do some research on lighting, flow, anemones, and saltwater tank stability. I'm not trying yo sound harsh I just think this will end in trouble. I think you are moving a bit too fast in your planning and letting excitement take over. These are really delicate systems that require time.

be careful with ecoxotic lighting. I have 2 48" bars and they are very cheaply made for the $300 per unit price. i am on my 4th dimmer as they keep burning up. just an fyi.

No not my first saltwater tank. Just haven't done anything in 20+ yrs. I have a valve for flow control. If I can't keep a NEM it won't be the end of the world, it will have to wait for the 120gal tank then. What lights would you recommend?

Thanks for the FYI I will keep an eye on it for sure.

What kind of nem? Most don't belong in a 10 gal, but there is a wide range of requirements depending on species. I think your on the right track with led lighting, but with the price of a good fixture you might as well set up a bigger tank.

Well this is something I had since the 80's. The plan is to get something between 100gal-220gal but I have to persuade the wife. So this is to get her interested again.
As for the nem I was thinking a BTA possibly green. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jim
