Neomeris

I've had a few sprouts of strange looking algea pop up in my tank. I managed to figure out that it's called Neomeris.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on it though.

I've pinched off one of the stalks a few weeks ago, and it has grown back since then.

Should I just keep removing it as it grows? Will it spread? Or should I just leave it alone and prune it when I need to?

It will spread.
Not overly quickly but once it is dug in you are in a bad spot.
I would remove the rock, no matter how far down it is.
Scrub the heck out of that spot with a tooth brus and fresh water.

STOP IT NOW!!!

It is the only negative thing in my tank. :(

Is it a big rock? I want some neomeris in my tank. Would you sell it?

Actually, you live in Canada. Nevermind. Too far to ship I think.

Yes, it is a big rock, and yes, it is too far to ship.

And so far I only have three little twigs of it. You'd be sadly dissapointed.
