Hello...I have two kinds of candy cane...as in pic. I recently moved the neon green colony to a brighter area...
The heads shrunk,so I moved it back.
I lost couple heads and still remaining are shrunk.

What can I do to save that colony? I keep seeing some of the skeleton now...
Pls advice
Thx

That'll do it. When you burn corals they need to recover with a lot less light. Needs to go on the sandbed, preferably in the shade.

Still hasn't improved...should I try a dip?
Will iodine work?
I have the same neon green colony elsewhere in DT that's doing well.[emoji30]

It's going to take a long time to improve, iodine dips will just stress it and make it take longer. Patience, sandbed, shade.

Great to hear! Sometimes the hardest thing to do with a sick coral is to put it in low shade and wait it out, but it's usually the best solution :)
