Neon Green Palua Nepthea?

Trigger 180

This is one of the corals that came with a 180 gallon that my wife and I purchased. I know it's a leather, and it seems happy now that I set it into and old coral skeleton (to keep it from blowing around and hopefully get it to attach to something permanent). thoughts?

I've been pretty busy with the great job search lately, but I have a few moments today to do a little reefing! so I took a few pics of the coral in question, and made sure to take close up pics of the polyps for better identification! I have included pics under the blue atinnic as well, although they don't really do it justice. This coral absolutely glows under the blue light! don't understand why the camera doesn't show up the same as the naked eyeball, but what ever! hope you all enjoy! and thanks for the help (again) with ID of this coral!

I took some better pics of the polyps, and compared them to Sinularia & Palau Nepthea. I am leaning more towards Palau Nepthea. Not that we care if the coral is rare or not, it beautiful either way. but it WOULD be nice if we could properly ID so that we can give this little guy the best conditions possible...

I got bored and started to expand my search as to differences between NEON GREEN SINULARIA and NEON GREEN "TRUE" PALAU NEPTHA. I have run across so many people\businesses claiming that what they are selling\have is "true palau neptha" it is just ridiculous. is there ANY defining characteristics between the two? is there any pics that can be used as known example? as stated before, I don't really care if I have neptha, or sinularia, but i'd really like to know which it is. can anybody help me out?

I just purchased a frag from my LFS which specializes in reef tank sales and construction etc. They told me it is a Palau green Nepthea. I will take a picture of it soon and post it to compare with what you have. I looked at a lot of different Internet sites and many of the pictures do not match, so it is making me very curious as to what I have. Whatever it is, it is bright Neon green. I hope to make it the show piece in my display someday.

Here is the image. It doesn't do the coral justice. Looks much better under the aquarium lights. This my Palau Neon Green Nepthea. Has anyone had problems with fish eating this coral. I am worried about my flame angel and starry blenny. I know they sometimes nip/eat coral.
