Whats up, just picked up this frag last week and one of the heads inflated so much im wondering if its a problem, the other head stayed about the same size. The pic I posted was during moonlight process and they both closed up a little. Is it common for one to grow like crazy and the other head takes its time?

I bought a frag like that that now has like 20 heads and turning into kind of a ball. It puts it feeder tentacles out at night in my tank.

Well not sure if it's lps that's not my question was wondering if it's common for one of the heads to grow faster than the other that's all, I'm new to this site haven't figured out how to start my own threads yet in the right sections o well I tried

But to answer your question, sometimes polyps will extend more than others. This doesn't mean much of anything and it is not considered growth. Growth on a trumpet coral will be reflected by new heads appearing. The polyps don't get much bigger.
