Neptune AC JR Remote

Good evening, I posted this on another thread and it was suggested that I ask you directly.

Is there a maximum length the cables can be for control?

For instance, my Display is on the first floor and the sump/skimmer/pumps/etc are in the basement. Will it handle that? I installed 2 GFI breakers and wired them to the basement fish room since I was going to put everything there. But could I just re-run some cabling from the basement to the AC Jr on the first floor for control?

BTW, if it matters, I have a 200 GAL Display and 3 100 GAL stock troughs in the basement (so ~500 GAL total) running an Iwaki 70 for sump return and a Sequence Hammerhead for Closed loop)

Thanks!

As I understand it, you could only have the DC unit as far away from the base unit as the cord will allow which is about 4 to 6 ft I think. You could use X10 modules to control it remotely. You might ask Neptune directly as they know more about the technical side of the aquacontrollers than I do. Hope this is helpful!

Thank you very much. Will do.

If your referring to the phone cord control cable. I have mine on a fifteen foot phone cord with no problems. I have a similar setup.

10 feet is the max recommended length for the cable between the AquaController and the direct connect box. DCX to DCX max length is also 10 feet.
