Neptune Apex Alexa app

Anyone have an Amazon Alexa product? Just installed the skillset to control and monitor my Apex from my Alexa products Will play around with it in a bit and let everyone know. Really curious to see how they integrate the Alexa Show capabilities.

Just a bit of what I know already, this is compatible with both the Apex Classic and 2016 models. You need to be registered on Fusion for it to work as well.

Do you have any resources on how you set that up? I just got an Apex and would definitely be interested in doing that

At this time it is only open to their NSI test group to work out any kinks. I wouldnt expect it to be a very long test phase TBH.

Once it is released, actual integration is simple. Sign in, click to install skill, click to link Apex, Badda-boom badda-bing, Alexa, Feed my fish

That sounds wonderful. I've been with Amazon since 2009 and another feature for Alexa is good in my book

How did it go with you? We didnt get back until almost 10pm due to absolutely shitty service at the Red Robin in Chesterfield. So I never got to play with Alexa. Hopefully tonight the wife will let me have a few moments alone to play with her. Alexa. Not the wife. Well....

It went pretty good. Setup the status report and a few aliases. I am going to try to setup some virtual outlets tonight to control multiple devices and do something like shut off all the radions with one voice command.

Since they are allowing us to post on social media I may release a video of it tonight on my channel.

Just watched your video, and ya know, im glad to see im not the only one with a HUGE ORP number. Shown my dashboard to some people and they are absolutely strong in their remarks that something is seriously wrong in my tank.

This was on beta test last year from some guy on r 2 r and I was able to join. He was hired by neptune so they can incorporate the feature.

At that time, there was some risk of Alexa turning on/off the wrong outlet. I'm sure we've all experienced Alexa or Siri doing something completely different from what was asked.

Anyway, for me the novelty wore off after a couple weeks. Good to have though if it is going to be available again.

Yeah my ORP is crazy. I think the probe is bad or something. I don't want to spend the money on another probe because I really don't use it and calibration fluid cost more than the probe is worth. I can look at my water and tell its not THAT clean.
