my name is dave ive got a 300 wide mixed reef and im in the process of setting up my new apex. to start ill tell you what im trying to do. i have a large 20'' filter canister im using to drop kalk from an ro unit with a float and solenoid. about 6 months ago something (not sure exactly what) went very wrong and way too much kalk got dropped into the tank the ph rose through the roof and the end result was almost a total loss. since then ive made some adjustments to the kalk setup, and now im trying to put the apex in control. here is what id like to do, i have two 1/4'' lines going to my float in the sump for top off. one comes off the kalk canister and the other is straight ro water. i have two 1/4''-120v solenoid valves one on ea water line. if the ph raises to the high limit the valve for the kalk will turn off, and the straight ro valve will open and vice versa if the ph drops to the low range the kalk valve will open and st ro valve will colse, and either one will only drop water if the ato float is calling. in addition i only want to top off at night between 12 and 5am. im very new at this apex so please bare with me.
ok here is what i came up with so far. i need to know how this program info looks, and if it is all necessary. also not sure if i should leave some parameters for the ph. this would be giving me a constant ph of 8.3 but working constantly
