I have reef angel but Im sure its similiar IP settings. If your really stuck, might want to check with your internet provider. You can probably get the tech people at your internet provider to set up you port forwarding on your router and help with setting up dynamic dns. If they wont do both on the first call: First get them to set the port forwarding, then call them every time your address changes, they will set up dns so they dont have to take your calls. The KEY is to know what they will need to know in order to help you:
IE port you need open , the address of your wifi and what to name the dynamic dns.(assuming apex works same way )
If your on clear wireless ask for laura in level 2 tech support and tell her you have a reef computer wifi. She fixed mine and explained it to me...i offered her to get married but she said she has a husband.. Its frustrating TCIP settings if your not an IT type person.Yes if you open your computer up for outside controls modem setting like port forwarding is easy for someone with the right background.
