Hi all I'm on again after a really long break. i have a question, is one Nero 5 enough flow for a 90 gal. reef tank with mostly Euphillia and soft corals? TIA

I have no experience with the Nero 5 but I think a lot will depend on your aquascape design to avoid dead spots

No experience with it, either, but looking at the specs, I'd say you'd possibly wind up with a lot of flow going just one way. I'd argue you could do just as well with several much less expensive pumps in strategic places to achieve a semblance of random turbulence. Good luck!

I have a Nero 3 on a 4 foot frag tank and an mp10 on the opposite side and I let them fight with each other for some chaos in the middle. All LPS and it's good. I don't think you'd want to have a nero5 maxed out all the time just to get a 90 gallon turning over. Maybe start with one, with a plan of adding a second. They're programmable down to the minute if you want via Bluetooth. I really like the Nero and would probably get another before another Ecotech just for the cost savings.
