thankyou for your help

from all i've read on here and other sites you need MH lighting probably at least 150 wts maybe more. i'm no expert, i have a clam but have 250 mh pendant with a 20k XM bulb seems to be fine in my tank. Good luck.

i dont want a specific clam i would just like any clam that would survive. (please dont say cleaner clam already got 2  )

In my honest opinion, it shouldn't be done. The clam may survive but it would be like you trying to survive on rice cakes. It can be done but would you want to do it? You need T5 or MH to successfully keep clams.
