Never saw phosphate disappear so fast!

I discovered after doing a recent water change that my phosphate level were sky high. I went to a local lfs, and they reccomended Blue Life Phosphate Control. Three days later my phosphate level is almost 0. I usually use rowa, but it is costly. The Blue Life was half the price, and works alot faster. Has anyone else use this product.

Is it just a liquid? Are you skimming? I've heard of some miracle cure PO4 removers that you pour into the tank, they bind the PO4, and it all gets skimmed out over a day or two. What's their methodology?

It is a liquid. I do skim, but I turned my skimmer off the first day.

why do you think your phosphates where so high? It is good that they are now 0 but you should figure out why they got so high.

I tested it 2 days before I did my water change. It was pretty low. After I did the water change it was sky high.

heh - funny situation. When I went Wed to get my purple tang, both Carlton and they're other guy were out on service calls, Bernard was with a customer, and 2 waiting in the front, while 3-4 more were in the fish area.

So, I grabbed bags, and starting pulling livestock for his customers!!!!


Nice group over there, though.
