Never seen it before

My tank has been going for about 6 months. I use oolite sand the water parameters are within accecptable range.
All the sudden some of my fish Tangs and Anthisis have developed a 1/4" white spot about midway on there body. Not small dots not cottoney just look like a loss of color. i have searched the threads and the internet and did not see anything that closly resembles it.

Any ideas

I wish I could but as of now I am about 600 miles away and will not be home until late friday night.

I think I saw the same thing on my foxface, but it only lasted a few days. I was just about to take a picture and ask for help on here but the next day it was gone and hasn't come back since. I follow a strict QT with cupramine so I'm pretty sure it's not ich. I never saw it on any other fish.
