I've set up a 190 bow front tank and I plan a mixed carpet tank I needed a tank big enough that I can either move my fish or carpet anemones out of my 300 gallon. not sure what will be harder. I've built the stand myself it's not done still need to make t look nice but it's all together. lots of rock from my 300 along with sand and a filter I have some coral and 2 fish to see how it does before I move nems over :)

Trusting sand bad? Have you had bad experiences using sand from previous tanks?

Oh wow I misread that fast and there's plenty of support all the holes are pre drilled with 4-1/2 inch screws there's 6 4x4 posts that take all the weight

If the 2x4's are screwed to the 4x4's and the tanks is resting on the 2x4's, then the screws are supporting the weight, not the 4x4's.

That 4x4 in the middle of the bow is a definite pressure point. Beautiful setup but I would make sure the whole bottom trim is being supported by a flat, level surface. Just my thoughts.

Tank is resting only on the 4x4 posts not the 2by4s those just hold the shape of the stand I added some more support today tank has been level for awhile now so there's no leaning :)
