New 210 setup

I will be setting up an AGA Megaflow 210 gallon tank in the spring. I will transfer the occupants from my current 90 gallon bare bottom tank. I will have 150 lbs live rock to start and eventually add another 165 lbs. Most likely I will have a shallow sand bed 2 - 2.5". I currently have a Red Sea wavemaker and 4 Maxi-jet 1200's for circulation, and a spray bar for the return.

I have various soft corals, polops, LPS, mushrooms, and fish that will also be transferred to the new tank. I will use the factory overflows and bulkheads for the primary circulation to a sump in the basement.

I am interested in using the Tunze Turbelle Streams for water movement. I am somewhat on a budget. What would be the optimal setup for my tank (72Lx24Wx29T)? I don't want to be limited on the types of livestock I will be able to keep; I don't want to worry about upgrading the setup in the future. I would like the abitility to have a feed/sleep mode. Will keeping a 2 - 2.5" sand bed be an issue with the units?

What are your reccomendations? Thank you.

The TS24 kit is what you need. It will work for your size tank and you can adjust the programming of the controller to suit your inhabitants, short of that, placement of both the pumps and the animals will affect your success.

You could actually substitute a 6100 for the wavebox. The wavebox will make a sand dune effect and ripple the sand over time.
