Maybe not needed but I'd recommend it, more cross braces in the top section of the stand. Remember you are going to have to put foam down under the acrylic and you want absolutely no sagging. Unlike glass, an acrylic tank needs to have its entire bottom supported.

Sure. Is there anything in particular you are looking for? I use a Kreg jig to screw and glue all my wood.

interested in pics of the inside top...whats under the plywood.. also, do you have supports under the top boards?
