SO i got the next best thing! here are some pics of it.

water cleared up after a couple of hours. this was my first attempt at rock scaping. i dont think it looks to shabby.

i went through several ideas at rock scaping, but this is the best i could come up with, if you noticed i got more rock to. the first setup only had 10lbs of pucani, 5lbs of fiji, in this pic there is another 5lbs fiji and 2lbs tonga. there is about 30lbs of fiji LS in there.

shot of the algae growth that came on it from the LFS. IMO its not to bad, usually ive heard that rock that come from LFS are not colorful, but the ones i picked up were FULL of color, alot of pinks, greens, purples. not to shabby.

ive already started doing the mods for the tank.

here is my fuge setup

specs:
06' JBJ 24NC w/surface skimmer
MJ1200 in champer 3
stock pump in chamber 2
MJ600 in display
removed almost all filter media cept for 1/2 of a filter in chamber 1
flipped 1 of the fans in the hood, so that 1 pulls in air and 1 pushes it out

when its done cycling it im going to do a fuge in chamber 2, hopfully by then ill be able to get the nanocustoms DIY MH light kit, or just get a MH pendant so i can keep sps corals.
