New 24x24x12 Mr Aqua tank

Thought I would share some pics of my new tank. I just set it up on Tuesday. It replaced a smaller tank and is attached to my 40br and sump.

Like your new set up. Love you BTA! I'm getting a "new to me" LeeMar tank the same size ready to set up. I'm making some repairs to the stand before I fill the tank. How big is your sump & how deep is your sandbed in your sump? I like the bare bottom look, but I'm too chicken to try it. I also like my sand critters & sand dwelling fish.

I do not know the type of nem this is actually. I do not get all into the names persay. If I like the colors I like the animal.

This tank is attached to my 40br. They share a 20l sump. There is no sand in the sump. The 40br has a 2" or so sand bed. I am not sure if I will stay BB or not but I am really liking the look of it. I had some nassarius snails in the smaller tank this one replaced but I just put them in to the 40 and will buy more if I do end up putting sand in it.

If you saw it a couple weeks ago with a AI Hydra above it then it was this one. Anthony was going to take this one to the CFM but I bought it out from under him lol. He had to get another one for CFM. Yes I did make the overflow and drilled it myself. The overflow is 1/4" Grey 14 glass.

Thanks Pete. I really like this foot print too. I am going to replace the 40br with a 42x24x15 rimless in the near future. They should look good next to one another.

They seem to be pretty common these days. You should be able to find one. 2 years I was able to get my hands on one while they were not so common but had a tank crash take it out .

More practicing with my camera. Found a way in the camera to get most of the blue wash out of the pics. Can't get any good full tank shots as the fish seem to mess up the focusing.
