New 28g nano build

ive been out of reefing for about 2 years now and i just cant do it no more. i just bought the jbj 28g nano pro led w/stand, new r/o unit, and mp-10 today. cant wait till it all arives at my door step. ive been on RC for a few years now and i never posted any pics or anything, but i think im going to post my progress of my nano. i really dont want to make the mistakes i made in the past, buying things that i didnt need, and wasting money. im going slow and going to do things right this time so i dont have to change andything in the future.
 
I have a JBJ 28 also just set it up last week. I will follow your build and ask some questions along the way I new to this so if you ever have a question for me don't be shy

yeah, it's a great idea to have a tank thread.
i don't have them on here but i have several on my local site.
it lets everyone see your progress, but even better it lets you go back and see where you were.
post as many pics and details as you can.
i refer back to mine from time to time.
good luck with your build. i've just setup a 28g nano-cube myself.
 
Well my mp-10 i ordered from marine depot shipped out the same day i ordered it and will be here soon. My tank and stand r shipping out today. cant wait to get them and set it up. im curious to see how the leds look and how brite they r.....
 
got my tank on sat. but some reason the stand didnt ship with the tank. i ordered from jbjnanocubes.com. they seem too be pretty good but not sure y i didnt get the stand. the tank looks sweet and arived in perfect condition. cant wait for the stand do come so i can fill this bad boy up.
 
ok well i just got everything set up and running. looks awsome. i will post pics as soon as i can figure out how.... one question for those with the advanced led lights how hot does the remote ballast get. i have it in the stand and it gets pretty hot just wondering if this is normal. thanks
 
well tank has been cycling for two weeks or so and starting to get brown sand which is good. just ordered hob-1 from marine depot. also got the in tank media basket which is very great quality. cant wait to get this bad boy cycled to start adding inhabitants
 
If you have a smartphone like the iPhone you can get the photobucket app. Then you can take a picture and have it uploaded to photobucket about 20 seconds later.

Then just log on to photobucket on your computer. Go to your albums and find the picture you want to share. Place your cursor over it and the code that pops up on the bottom which is the IMG code as ange said can be tapped on which copies it. Then simply paste that code on your reply here and it will show up as a photo.

Now lets see some pics!
