New 29 gal. Biocube

Ex-Reefer

After almost 3 years of not having a reef tank and only keeping a 90 gal. fish only setup, I decided to get back into the hobby. I have only added the live rock, so tell me what you think. I plan to add only a few fish and a ton of corals when the tank is ready. Thanks for any input.

Thanks everyone for your nice comments. I cannot wait until I can fill this tank with corals!

In reference to your question, the biocube has two 36 watt power compacts with 3 lunar lights (blue) built into the hood. The ballasts for the power compacts were mounted on the reverse side of the stand with brass screws and mounting hardware to keep the majority of the heat away from the tank itself.

As far as fish are concerned, my wife and I are thinking about a pink skunk clownfish and a flame back angel, any suggestions onn whether I should stick with just two fish or add an additional third when the tank is ready.

Expedition, Thanks for the welcome. I have used reef central for a vaulabe source of information for a long time now. Im just glad that now I have a reef tank again and can enjoy this site and all of its information. Thanks again, hopefully my tank will be an enjoyment for people to view in the future.
