New 300g

Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum. This weekend I will be picking up a 300g glass tank. This will be a huge upgrade for me, my current tank is an Oceanic 90g R/R bowfront. The dim's of the new tank are
8ft x 2 ft x 30". I feel like a newbie. Any ideas on setting it up?

Yes.... TAKE YOUR TIME. Do it right the first time. Do it right as far as waiting through cycles, introducing fish. But also do it right with the right equipment the first time, so you dont waste time and money. Then listen to these guys, theyre the real pros lol. Thats just the little bit of advice I can offer from my past frusterating experiences.

Nice size tank. Try to plan out as much as your gonna do to and with the tank setup. It took me over a year to get my tank up and running due to running out of funds. But the extra time was well worth it. It allowed me to come up with new and improved things to do to my complete setup. Like Joe said, doing it right the first time is the key to much success and happiness. I wish you much luck with everything. Feel free to ask about any perticular item you like, I'll do my best to steer you in the right path.
