Getting back in the hobby after moving to Fort Myers!
As of now i have the tank up and running. Its a 36 gallon bow front with an aqua c remora skimmer
Taotronics 120w led( BRIGHT)
currently 45lbs of liveaquaria fiji live rock.
So far this tank has been a nightmare lol lets see...
Live aquaria live rock shipment was supposed to be here on friday....ended up getting to me monday afternoon -_- Liveaquaria's customer service is amazing and they refunded me half of my order along with the shipping and tommorow morning im expecting a shipment of more rock from them (22lbs).
Aqua c remora is over skimming and filling up the collection in cup in just a few hours.
Heater was acting weird for some reason. set it to 82 degrees. Didnt have a thermometer to check so when i finally did my water was 94 degrees!
Maxijet fell twice causing a sandstorm like no other.
For anyone thinking about getting the Taotronics chinese led's....THEY ARE BRIGHT. Also the center brace does NOT cause any shadow in the tank. i have the fixture like 7 inches above the centerbrace and no shadow.
Ive included some pics as the tank stands now (forgive the blue color, only the actinics are on.
