New 45 Gallon Tank

Hi, so in my new 45 gallon I don't have a heater installed yet bc my temp has been the right temp for keeping African cichlids (75-80 degrees). And my tank already looks not great from the hardware so i don't really want to add more. But one issue that I've had is that the temp has changed a lot but it has never gone below 75 or above 80. So if it changes like that but never gets to hot or to cold will that hurt my fish? Thanks

freshwater tank?
Temperature swings of a few degrees is usually just fine..

I don't run a heater at all during the summer (AC at 78 and tank gets up to 81 or so with lights/skimmer/powerheads)

Yes it's freshwater and in the past few days since I set it up it's gotten to 80 but never below 75 so is that fluctuation too big?
