New 6055 won't work....

Just got this for Christmas... opened it up and installed it in the tank and it doesn't work. I switched the power supply with one of my older 6055 and it works fine. Should I contact you or BRS about the problem? I have always had good luck with your products first issue i've ever had.

That is very odd, can you please try pulling out the prop assembly, it may be jammed by a foreign object from packing. Then try it again. Let me know the result. I will gladly replace the pump if it doesn't work.
