New 6105's & 7096 Suggestions

I just replaced (2) MP40's with (2) 6105's and a 7096 controller in my 150g ( 5' x 2' x 2').
Can someone give me a good recommendation for pump placement and controller program to get me started?
Thanks in advance.

I would use the interval program and a 6hr interval with a 3sec pulse from 30-100%. I would place each pump in the back corners about 8" from the top and aim them to hit the front of the tank 4ft away.

It wouldn't hurt anything, nightmode only stops the pulsing and keeps the pumps at the 2nd speed setting, my personal preference is to make that 100% so the pump is at full power to help reduce night time pH drop, but without the pulsing it is still a bit calmer.

Roger would you recommend the same for 120gal tank

Which controller 7095 or 7096 and one or two 6105s for my 120gal 4x2x2 would you recommend. Its a mixed reef, low to moderatly stocked with fish coral and inverts. Right now I have 3- #4 Koralias and 2- #3 Koralias and am looking to upgrade to Tunze powerheads. Thanks

Hi Roger,

I'm also setting up my new 6105 (2) and 7096 combo. This is going on a 200g tank (62 x 31 x 24 high). Does your recommendation above work well for my tank? Are 2 6105's enough for a 200g?

Also, in your suggestion above, do I plug one pump into socket 1 and socket 3 (instead of 1 & 2).

Thanks!

Yes, I would do the same for this size tank, placement is largely trial and error, but this is a good standard starting point. You are correct about the connections.
