new 75, and current t5x6 fixture

I have a 75 gal. tank with one maroon clown. I just ordered the current extreme pro fixture. It has 6 tubes and individual reflectors. I am almost afraid to turn it on when I get it. Did I overbuy? can I/should I only run 4 lights. I want to get started with a bta or the easier corals when the tank matures.

I think you'll be just fine. Just be sure to acclimated your tank inhabitants to the increased lighting (and acclimate all new corals to your lighting.)

Several layers of your standard window screening laid over the top of the tank will do the trick. Start with say 6 layers and remove one every week.
