I have a male n female pair.... they are very personable fish you wont be dissappointed. But be ready for some water changes cause these guys eat like hogs... and crap like them also

Very nice fish :)

WOW, clean your glass man :) That second picture is horrible dirty on the outside.

Thanks folks. I moved the queen trigger to the 40 breeder section of my sump systems. That is why the glass looks the way it does. It splashed like a tuna on the line. Water everywhere. I thought it looked pretty good until that shot...oh well. Hey, I'm just glad it is eating like it should.

I am so jealous every time I see someone's tank with a Crosshatch. There is one at a LFS that I have been contemplating buying for the past few months. Nice Fish!

I know how you feel about the glass. I clean mine very well otherwise everytime I take a picture it just looks horrible. It looks great to the naked eye but once you use a flash it looks BAD.

Ok, do xhatch triggers come in other colors? Reason I ask is when I bought my tank the guy told me it was a xhatch but it's not yellow.

The females are not nearly as vivid colored, but they still have a yellow/greenish tint to their scales.

Do you have a picture?

I'll get one later. Out for diner with the wife. Looks like a mix between the blue jaw and a xhatch. Def does not have a blue jaw though.

Well, it finally is eating pellets. They have to be floating at eye level, or above. Not on the ground. Good sign. Didn't touch nori yet.

The female has a yellow edged tail, and red edged top and bottom fin. Blue lines in the face. Grey/silver body.

That doesnt look like a crosshatch but like you said the picture sucks. It looks like a female bluejaw trigger to me.

I dont think so either but every blue jaw I see has a distinctive blue jaw.

Was just looking up fish and I do believe you are correct!!! I'm dumb.

On most of the female blue jaws the blue jaw is very faint sometimes non existant it is the males that are so bright....anywho...beautiful fish, congrats
