New 90 g pics

As some of you are aware I moved in the beginning of the month, traded up from a 75g to a 90g. I was fortunate enough to only lose an emerald crab during the move and maybe a week ago I noticed a turbo snail has bitten the dust. Since the move I introduced my first clam to the system also.:) Constructive criticism is always welcomed!!!

Hey Francis,

Lookin' good!

What is your opinion of the colors since you just switched from VHO to halides??

Maybe it's just me but I haven't noticed a drastic difference in colors although my corals seem to be growing faster. I switched from sand to bb and added more flow so that could also effect thier growth. I'm also keeping the calcium level at 480(trying at least, keeps falling) instead of 420, coraline is starting to grow on the back and bottom of the tank:D

Very nice looking tank. Any pics of your sump? What size return pump? I'm in the process of setting up a 90 also and always like to see successful systems.

I'm using the mega-flow 3 sump, I removed the bio-balls and added lr, return is the mag 9.5 but that will be switched out for the
Quiet One 3000, I find that I have the 9.5 throttled back with a ball valve 1/3 turned, the quiet one will use less electricity and will most likely have to be throttled back also. I found the fan at Home Depot, last years stock 1/2 price $15, it comes with a temp sensor so anytime that cabinet get's above 75 it will go on, in the summer I can switch that to a range of 65 to 80 degrees and it has kept my tank water cooled so far.

Hey SinkingBeach,
What type of tubing is that, that you're using for your drain into your sump? (And where can I get some!? :)) It looks very flexible. I've had a very very hard time adjusting my flexible pvc piping, as it always just wants to recurl and reflatten.
Thanks,
Z.

That particular tubing came with the sump, AGA supplied it. I used a an outdoor pond flex pvc which I got at the local garden center for the return it's very flexible and came in many different sizes.

lookin' good francis, I take the Live rock worked out rather well?

Tank looks clean. Much kudos on the move, and by the way, nice Tunze :D

The extra rock worked perfectly, ty, as you can see in the picture it's all on the right side, broke it up to 6 or 7 pieces + the sump, hasn't colored up yet. I should have had another Tunze by now but everytime I bring it up my wife chimes in "what about the kitchen" :D
