This is only one of my tanks :D My 24 nano gets 15 -20 per week (3 fish and loaded with softies)
My 180 I converted to FW because I just did not have the time for it. (at my office)

I figure I save some of that $5 per week in other ways. (even though you could never save 100% of your salt costs)

No supplementations of any kind, I buy 1 test kit a year (ca), very little carbon use, no algal issues,and I never worry about those nitrate, nitrite, phosphate things that seem to be in many tanks :D

The Eel... yes, a big contributor to the bioload of the tank, as well as the Blue Tang and Lamarck's Angel. The Snowflake Eel has a higher bioload than the Tang and Angel put together, but I love my little snowflake being one of the tanks center pieces. The Tang and Eel are the center pieces of the tank besides my Monti Cap Corner, The Colorful Mushrooms and Zoanthid's. I just can't get enough of a good thing I guess. I could probably get rid of the Lamarck's Angel and it would not be a huge let down for me, but would probably then fill that bioload void with a school of Blue Eyed Cardinals. The Lamarck's is a very healthy specimen and I guess I would be hard pressed to take him out as well. I am happy where I am at right now with fish, I just need to fill in a little bit of the coral void over the next year or so and I will call it good. For this tank anyway, who knows what the future holds for me.

RJ when did you rid of the T5 I remember you being really into them. What are your thoughts now that you have mh

I got a really good deal on the MH and just was not sure on T5's for a 24" tank, where you really need at least a 6 bulb for a 24" high tank. The MH cost me about $100 less than the 6 bulb Tek-Light was going to cost and I spent that $100 on making the canopy. The new MH w/Canopy has feeding doors up front since the lights are 10" from the water compared to T5's being 2" above the water. I think that tanks 24" and above do better with MH because they do penatrate a bit better than other lighting, and I wanted to be able to do anything with the new tank.
 
I have a 75g and will making a jump to get a Dori here in the next week or so.

I plan on adding a Dori and a Kole at the same time.
 
Cool, I was just curious. I had remembered you being a major advocate for T5 and also your tank was always so beautiful.

I still am an advocate for T5's on tanks that are 20", it did wonderfully for my 55g tank and they would do the same for a 75g. I just was not sure on a 24" high tank since I want a Maxima and Crocea down in the sand possibly.
 
Well your fish look healthy so you are doing something right. I still think that's a little too many fish for a small space. But it it works for your fish. . .

I was wondering if you could get a longer video of just your hippo tang? I am planning on getting one when my 120 is fully set up. And I'd just love to have something to watch for dedication to get my new tank up and running soon.
 
I just upgraded to a 125 and my hippo seems to like it a little more than my 75. But, my 75 was very crowded with rock. When I upgraded I decided not to add much rock (I added about 4 pieces) to leave it nice and open. I refuse to call my hippo "Dori" though ;) I told my wife her name is "Henrietta" :D

Excellent looking tank! My galfriend is seriously thinking of upgrading her 60 gal acrylic to the all glass 90 you have. Do you have any pics of your cabinet/hood? Just wondering if you were using standard AG furniture or not. Those are sweet Monti Caps BTW.:thumbsup:

Very nice smcnally, I was tossing it around between a custom 92g or the AGA 90g, but probably should have done an AGA 120g. This tank is working nicely though and the open space is very much enjoyed by Dori with all the swimming room as you can see in the video.
