New 90g All Because Of Dori

It's a MaxiJet 1200 with a propeller mod. A guy in my local club milled it up on a CNC machine and it came out very "Factory" looking. The flow is pretty comparable to a Tunze Stream, but the entire device is much smaller and nicer to look at.

Here is a full tank shot showing the stand and canopy and a full tank closeup, you can see I did some fragging in the capricornus corner. People keep buying me stuffed fish from the Finding Nemo movie.

I had to force myself to read your whole thread before I replied. Your tank is beautiful and right in the neighborhood of where I want to be in a year.

Amazing, simply amazing.

Thanks Desert Aquarium!

Just remember to take your time and be patient, which with your experience looks like you probably already know.

Good luck, Take your time and Enjoy it.

Tank looks great RJ. We are having a similar crisis with our Dori. We too began a saltwater tank just for our 3 yr. old to have a Dori and a Nemo. :) The Blue Hippo we bought was about the size of a quarter when we brought her home and 3 months later she's larger than a silver dollar. I'd say she's at least two inches long, nose to tail. We currently have her in a 75 gal, but have already been planning on turning our 210 into a reef for her and a lot of other animals we want, but just don't have the room for. You're Dori looks to be doing great along with everything else in your tank. Keep up the beauty!!!

Thanks rubysmomma1!

I am sure you will have something beautiful once it get's started, I know a couple people who have two tangs in a 75g that are doing very well. Considering how small your tang still is you have plenty of time, so don't rush into the 210, take your time, research what will work best for you setup and it will be great.

Ok, here is an awsome coral, they only come along every now and then so I grabbed it quickly.

It is a bright yellow headed torch coral, it is in the upper right of this picture, I just love the torch corals.

Here is a few more new pictures from this weekend, one of my skunk clowns is checking out some new realestate and possibly making my green tip torch her host.

I really like the Halides, I don't have to move the lighting each time I need to get into the tank, I just open the front feeding doors on my canopy and get in to do what I need.

That is an awesome tank dude! I remember your 55 with the T-5s...that was a beautiful tank too. Any problems with the snowflake eel and the smaller fish in the tank?

What is a Magnet mod to the Seios!

I have the Eel and have no problems with him except he eats a lot and causes a big bio-load to my system, which makes weekly water changes at a minimum necessary.

Nice Tank !! I hope my 90 looks this good when I finally get it set up. How much live rock do you have in there?
