New Acrylic aquarium - I'm back after 30 y.

Who is good in calculation? If this system have fluctuation of 3 mm up and down how much this is in litters?

Dimension of aquarium is 130 long 75 cm high and 60 cm wide. If we deduct tickness of acrylic 1,5 mm on each side this is 3 cm less. Than we have to deduct approx 5 cm from top this mean we have 127 cm long 70 cm height of water column and 57 cm wide.

Can someone get calculation at least approx. ? Thanks. In inch its 1/8 3 mm
just for verification, is the acrylic 1.5mm or 1.5cm? Is the water level fluctuation 3mm or 3cm?

Sorry for late reply.

Acrylic tank is 1.5 cm thick. Level of fluctuation sensor between max and low is 3 mm. or 1/8 inch.
There is also other MAX security level. Max is 2,5 cm or 1 inch that switch off pump.

Now how much is this 2.5 cm or 1 inch in liters of water in any case to know MAX level that in any case
pumps will fill to stop both? Thanks for calculation also this data.

The only if magnets and they are really strong must be Iridium one will not keep on main tank 1.5 cm acrylic will place it differently.

I think that this automatic filling is very nice and quality done. Lets see how will work in new plastic exactly made for this.

L x W x D = cubic volume.
127cm x 57cm x 2.5cm = 18097.5 cubic cm. = 18.0975 cubic liters (= 4.780854 gallons)

Thanks.
Difference of 3 mm level that evaporate will be automatically replaced with RO water from 18 liter this plastic food grade non toxic by RedSea. Its really nice done.

40 liter one will be for mixed salt water changing. Seams too small for regular water changing but will see how frequently will this process started and to fix how much water will be replaced.

Next travel is first week August back home and its definitely starting day of assembly last things - piping.

Was without job too long and now finally getting highly professional project that I lead... 🐟 🐠

Time flying me too back home.
Friend was driving to Spain from Serbia and back or better say first door neighbour and I asked him to stop to Bergamo near airport where is good acrylic producer where I purchased my aquarium and I ordered also 2 identical small sumps and voila today I get it finally.

Nothing else now can stop me to glue pipes.
And fair price 2 sumps front transparent only 100 Euro.
I want to give 20 e more but he don't want it.

One question this 2 pumps Askoll Fluval was waiting almost 3 years and i test it yesterday and they produce huge vibrations???
Can be from long standby axles deformed? its end ceramic and ceramic axle as well? Very strange. Will change them with
low level sound and vibration one...i filled water under pipe testing but vibration was too high. Maybe will cool down with constant
pressure and pipes filled with water...will left standard 1" adapter to easy change other model.

And to change ugly metal place for sumps, pumps and equipment lets take Yisk product with measured elements to fill sumps perfectly in. As I order this sumps first taking the measurement of it. Of course fixed on few points to wall for stability and shaking in case of earthquake as on 11th floor we feel every small one.

Regarding the pump vibration my opinion is that water from faucet was mixed with air and create air gaps inside rotor and this can create vibration of course. Centrifugal forces of water air not filled well.

I was going to suggest cavitation of the impeller. That’s generally the main cause of a loud pump IMO.

Yes but this is brand new pump just waiting to be installed. The dummy AI told me this that its right
as when i tested there is missing flow rampage out to suck water...and bubbles inside must created
so strong shaking... Insufficient Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH): Cavitation often occurs when the NPSH available is less than the NPSH required by the pump. This can happen due to high fluid temperatures, low fluid levels, or excessive flow.

In my case this is low fluid levels with some air. Ok. today gluing first pipes and drilling sumps holes.
At least last year i purchased all drilling diameters that i will need. 16, 20, 22, 25, 32 mm including one big for main aquarium i think its 43 mm
or similar size.

I also decide to place under the pumps silicon rubber plate with Filc that i used under the Technics SL 1210 II series gramophone to avoid sub bass vibrations to double scratching needle Ortofon :) and vinil 32 and 45 plates. Ah nice memories in 1980' as DJ. The best way to reduce vibrations - imagine disco 600 people EV Electrovoice speakers Jumbo bass box 1200 W sin. Amcron PSA2 amp and DBX 120 a Bass limiter that with equalizer and Db meter we need to find no vibration to roof covers as they vibrate a lot hahahaa :) Sorry for OT.

In mean time we used RO for home only for cooking food clean water. In approx. 9 months this is RO Ion exchanger cartridge that i changed yesterday. The old one shows very different colors that was mentioned by Aqua Medic no matter that TDS meter shows 0 i changed as seams its exhausted as its not changing any more level of colors up or down...to mention before RO unit i have also 1 active carbon filter + 1 or 5 or 10 microns prefilter that changing regular every 3 months. As soon i will start filling aquarium asking you what you think about RO ion exchanger resin? I also add original photo of Aqua medic saying how color changing by time...Mine is completely different???
See photos.

their explanation:

  • Color Change Indicator: Equipped with a built-in color indicator that signals when the resin's capacity is exhausted. As the resin depletes, it transitions from blue to green, indicating the need for replacement.
