Hello Everyone,

Just got back about 3 hours ago from my LFS and picked up a beautiful Pair of True Percula and a awesome Bubble tip Anemone that is bright green. Acclimated for some time and the Nem quickly found it's resting spot. Got alittle nervouse because my 2 peppermint's were being curious and poking around. Should I watch them, do Peppermints have a tendency to bother Nems?

Will post some pics tomorrow.

I have read several posts where peppermint shrimp are suspected of cutting off tentacles and harassing anemones to the point of the anemone failing. I personally don't know because I wouldn't put a peppermint shrimp in with an anemone based on the information I've come across.

lol... shrimp are angels one day and devils the next, just look at them, you know they're up to no good. :-D

Extremely ****ed off at the moment. I wake up this morning and the female tossed herself out of my tank. I do take the blame as I have a open top tank with no protective shield but it just gets me since it was a pricey purchase. The other clearly looks stressed as well.

Parameters are perfect. Acclimated properly. Hopefully my LFS will honor it's 24 Hour Garauntee.

The Nem on the other hand is doing awesome. Found it's resting spot, and is fully out and healthy with it's mouth closed. I will keep everyone posted and post a pic up after work.

I don't think my LFS guarantees against jumping... I know mine tells you to cover your tank for the first few days at least because a lot of fish to a new environment may jump.

That's what I am unfortunately coming to realize. Lukily I paid 50% less than what they were priced due to the guy being a buddy of mine. My other concern is the male. He is acting funny, and just hanging at the top of the tank and almost swimming sideways. It could be that he is acclimating. But also, are there any issues that could arise due to it being a mated pair and it losing his mate?
