When they say a couple of weeks, to me that means realistically a couple months. Then you can add on top of that the 8+ weeks of back order, which leads me to believe people won't see these until 2011... But that is just my opinion.

Thanks for the AI tip, glad I had not spent the $1000 to upgrade my light only to be old again within a couple of months.

As far as i understand it, the pucks are an "upgrade" if desired not so much of an new release making old stuff obsolete.
IMO I see no need for even more blue, there is enough blue in these systems already, happy to keep mine just as they are, but then I am firmly in club 14k

I'm curious to see how controlling the new pucks will work. Do you think we will need new cables? What about the Profilux AI cable, will it be able to handle the 3 colors?

I would bet that the new units will be on display at MACNA.
If I am not mistaken the originals and the new double blues will continue to be available. All of the original cables work just fine, Brett is using his original cables with his Beta double blue.

The GHL booth will be running two Ai lamps over a tank being powered by a Vortech pump all connected to the profiLux.
If a Tunze can be squeezed out of Xenia then that will also be running in the tank. So if all goes to plan expect a light show from the Ai's ProfiLux hook up and water all over the floor from two competing flow pumps

Thats great!, we will run our supercube with a Profilux III so it looks like each end of the convention will have Profilux running.

I disagree the whites overpower the blues. Should have always been a 2/1 ratio blue to white not the way I bought them. I can def see me buying the pucks to change it out that's for sure.

im just anxious to see the difference between the two at 100% so I can make a choice on my own modules soon.
