New AI SOL vegas with VDM module

Will these work together? Will there be a firmware update or something to get the other lighting channels?

We have no idea. Neptune typically doesn't announce things like that until it's ready - or if they are working on it at all.

But MACNA2012 is just around the corner... maybe there will be a surprise or two from Neptune.

Take a look at AI's site. Here's what they have to say.

Vega and Third-party Controllers

Our proprietary wireless protocol allows us to have the greatest level of control over each LED. Its proprietary nature, however, makes interfacing with third-party controllers difficult. We will work with various manufacturers in an effort to support their controllers, but our primary focus is to provide the best user experience, which we can only ensure by using an AI controller. Availability and time frames will be announced as appropriate.

I wouldn't expect anything for a while.

tagging along seeing if their will be an update to the vdm to control all the colors of the vega color.
There will not be any ability to control Vega through the VDM. The Vega uses a wireless interface to the controller, not a simple control cable like the Sol. The only way an Apex would be able to control a Vega is if Neptune produces another module that can communicate wirelessly with the Vega.

Doesn't the Wdm that works with vortech work Witt the vega?
