New Apex help!

I'm about to pick up an APEX tonight and I want to get some advice on how to program what I need. Here's the most important things for me:

I want to program my heaters to go on if the temp drops to 78.5 and have them turn off if the temp reaches 79.5.

I want the chiller to go on if the temp reaches 80.3 and have it turn off once it drops to 79.5.

I my canopy fans, I want them to turn on when temp reaches 79.8 and have them off when they drop to 79.5.

How can I program this to get it working the way I want?

Thanks guys!

Ok, this may seem like a dumb question, but I read that manual and I can't find where to download the new firmwares and how to update the modules step by step. My current firmware is 4.01, what's the newest one?

Also, what's the best way to recalibrate a temp probe? my AC Jr is reading 79.0 and the new one I got is reading 77.5. The guy I bought it from had been running it for about a year like this and now I have my doubts as to which one is correct.

Thanks for the help!

Beta releases are often posted in this forum, but you can find the official releases here:

4.04BC10 is the latest release

Once you load the firmware, wait about 30 seconds for the Apex to reboot. Then update the webpages. Once the webpages are complete, go to Configuration > Module Setup and check the Apex Module List. That should show all the modules that are installed (legacy devices do not show up). The SW Rev column will show the revision and either (OLD) or (OK). If it shows (OLD) then in the Module Configure frame select the appropriate module and Update firmware button and Submit. A window will display indicating that the firmware is updating. It doesn't ever seem to indicate that it completes, although it does. Refresh the page if necessary, the SW Rev should indicate (OK) afterward. Repeat as necessary for each module.

Thanks for the help swearint! I just updated everything and all read OK! The only problem now is that my graphs don't show up, the only thing I'm able to see is the: End date, and a bunch of check boxes for my probes, bsae and EB8.

I tried reloading the page, clearing the cache, history and nothing shows up.

Thanks for the help!

It my take a day for the graphs to display properly, there was a change in the way the Apex records the date/time. Also, there were quite a few changes to the way it works. You select what you want displayed on the graph with the check boxes and how many days worth of data. This allows you to display the pH and a dosing outlet for example. You can also zoom in on a section of the graph by clicking opposite corners of a box.
