New ATI 6 bulb fixture

I got a quote from Sustainablereefs.com for a 6 bulb 48" 6 bulb Sunpower. They suggested 5 ATI T5 Blue Plus bulbs and 1 Korallen Zucht bulb - Fiji Purple. Does anyone here have this setup?
Thanks

I run a sunpower 6x54 on my 75g tank. I run two ati blue plus, three aquablue plus, and one uvl 75/25. Get a 14k color look, nice crisp blue, I don't like the 20k look too blue for me.

Brad

That's a lot of blue! I like a blue tank, but I think thats a little too much. I'd change one of those Blue+ bulbs for an Aquablue special. It really helps with the greens.

that's not a bad combo either. It's just a little more yellow than the one I mentioned but still has plenty of blue

Def. Cody. I was going to post here when i go home about your above combo but forgot. I was at work, trying to sneak in that post today. haha. You could even add a 10k bulb in there instead of the 6500. Or just like Cody said, aquablue.

I have always ran 4xATI Blue+ and 2xKZ Fiji Purple combo with great results. Gives a great 18-20k look with amazing par.

I'm going to get new bulbs for my 6x39w sunpower shorlty, i've switched my decisions around quite a bit but I think I'll be trying:

ATI Aquablue Special
ATI Blue Plus
GE 6500k
KZ Fiji Purple
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue Special
FRONT

I'm aiming for about 14K.

You will be looking at about 10k, maybe 12k at the most with that lineup.

I would add at least one more blue bulb to the mix. A Blue Plus is nearly cancelled out by any daylight bulb.

I would try this for 14k:

ATI Blue Plus
KZ Fiji Purple
ATI Blue Plus
GE 6500k
ATI Blue Plus
ATI Aquablue

Thanks for the input, I wasn't aware I'd be that close to 10k. Numbers 2 and 5 are my first bulbs on and last bulbs off so I'd like for them both to be blue +'s (for a little sunrise sunset effect), what about this?

1) ATI Aquablue 75/25 (14K)
2) ATI Blue +
3) GE 6500K
4) KZ Fiji Purple
5) ATI Blue +
6) ATI Aquablue 75/25 (14K)
front

i run a 6x39 sunpower my bulbs are as follows from front to back
aquablue+
pure actinic
blue+
blue+
blue+
aquablue+

my color is close to a radium 20k and gives awesome par.

ATI doesn't make an Aquablue 75/25. That is a UVL bulb and is nothing close to a 14k look.

Don't go off the Kelvin readings that manufactures use. Almost all of the UVL bulbs are pink. The Indigo Sun would be a better choice if you want to use UVL.

For 14k look into 3 ATI Blue Plus, 2 ATI Aquablue and 1 KZ Fiji Purple.

Yeah I realized that after the edit hour was up. I'm so used to using a 6500K bulb in my combos but maybe I'll make the switch and try to go without it..
