New Babies!

So I woke up this morning...actually afternoon to check on my pregnant Winston, and wham, not pregnant anymore. In a scramble we searched all over the tank and sump and were able to recover right around 24 of the babies. We have a kuda and dont konw how many fry he had. What we are worried about is that there are several fry we have not found yet or might be dead somewhere. Will this affect our water parameters? What do you guys think? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

My mated pair of reidi's have had two sets of babies. My pipefish's devoured the babies. I don't think anything bad will happen. If you've got any kind of cleanup crew, I'm sure they'd eat them. They're so small anyway, could barely even see mine.

So, to answer your question from my experience, nothing bad happened in my tank (35gallon)

p.s. CONGRATS!!

Congratulations vipjd39. 24 is definately not the full brood. I am not sure how many H. kuda have per batch, but I believe it is in the hundreds.

What size are your fry? Are they around the 1 cm mark or around 3-5 mm?

Fred
