new biocube setup

Hi

Im looking to set up a new 14 gal biocube that im getting for xmas. Ive had fish only tanks before but i want to try some new things in this one. I was hoping to have a pair or percula clowns and and anemone in there at least. Probably a bubble tip. I would also like to have some sort of soft coral/zoo. The only thing is that im not sure about the lights. Its only like 14 inches deep and theres a 24w 10k and a 24w act. I saw the little 8 gal one with an h. mag in it but i dont know if that was just for short term display. I was also wondering if with corals/anemones i could add a cleaner shrimp or if hes just gonna bug everything.

I have the 29-gallon version and so far have been able to keep any type of coral that I want alive and healthy. The 29 has more lighting power, but when you consider the size of the tanks, the lighting is about the same.
In my opinion that tank is too small to keep an anenome happy for a long time and for it to stay healthy.
Cleaner shrimps are cool, but if you have zoos or anything else that likes to eat, the shrimp will just pull the food out of the mouths of the corals if you dont keep the shrimp fed well enough. Just my opinion.

If you want to keep an anemone the stock lighting may be a little under par. You could consider upgrading the lighting to a 70watt hqi or something similar. Anemones can be tricky to keep so surf the forums here. There is a wealth of info on this subject. Keep us updated on the tank's progress.

Clowns can be funny sometimes. IME if there is not an anemone for them to host then they may make do with some other corals. I saw a clown host in a green brain.

Also, im planning on keeping the tank on the desk in my room. My room is on the SW corner of the house w/ 2 windows and white paint so its often very bright. Would this affect the things i could keep in it or just cause more algal growth?
