Just got back from Cancun this week, had to spend some time with the family.
But really, who won?

Last night was one of the best voting turnouts I have seen in several years. I didn't take an exact count but I would say we had about 35 people in attendance.

There were a few new volunteers who came forward to help. The majority of positions were filled by last year's board members.

The current list is as follows:

Vice-President- TBA
Treasurer- Tom B. "tbohinc"
Secretary- Eileen B. "boozerell"
Program director- Stan D. "StanD"
Membership chair- John J. "Bowman"
Raffle chair- Jim G. "funkyman"
Webmaster- Chuck M. "chuggy"
Newsletter Editor- Madelyn ("nanafish" ~ I think )

Ron A. "newsalt1" has volunteered for another year of refreshment chairman.
Sean K. "discoreefrover" has volunteered for another year of librarian.

I have a call in to two different people who expressed "some interest" in filling the VP position for the year but haven't heard back from them yet.

Erik, did you avoid the swine flu while in Mexico? :lol:

YEah, cancun was a ghost town. Probably more then half of the resorts were closed, at my hotel we were 2 of about 50 guests in a 400 plus room hotel. Great service but something was missing

Thanks Kevin for posting the results. The spouse put me to work and I hadn't had the chance yet. Will we vote on the VP position at the June meeting?
