New breeding set up

have they mated up..

Those do not look like a mated pair... You will prob have to put them in a normal tank

how long have they been in this tank?

You should keep a very close eye on ammonia and nitrite. That one piece of live rock is not enough in my opinion..

its hard to see the fish good with them away from each other so i really have no way to tell how they are acting with each other compared to our Matted pair and others i have seen .When you say they fight. are the fights both ways ? I Mean does one seem to be more dominate ,Is either of them kinda curling up in a half circle during there spats.?
Also the less dominate will start to take on darker color kinda loosing some of the Orange. and the Female will have a Growth spurt ...

This is about the extent of my knowledge... But one day is no where near long enough . they can take up to two weeks and sometimes she might just reject him all together thou i think its rare... Its not a given they will spawn.....

Feed them a lot of good food. Good nutrition is also a must for a female. My two clowns were together for almost 2yrs before I noticed a change in behavior. Not sure if a more stable tank, or my increased feeding of more diverse foods.

Now she lays like clock work every 14days, he does his thing to fertilize and protect. I've seen them hatch but they don't last long in the current, filtration, or being fresh food for the other fish. Maybe some day I'll setup a separate tank for them.

I wish mine would do that. But I've only had hem for a couple days. They have a long way to go

This.
That little piece of rock and the sponge filter will not sustain that tank.
I would drill the tank and setup a small sump with lots of live rock. Just move the pot with the eggs to a small 10-20 gallon tank with just a small sponge filter and do small daily water changes.
Typically you wait until the clowns are actually laying eggs before moving them into a breeding tank. It can take a few years before they start laying after they become a pair.
Also, as stated above, you want to feed them a varied nutritious diet. I would feed LRS fertility frenzy, LRS fish eggs, and PE mysis soaked in selcon.
