I have a new BTA that moved to back of tank w very little lighting. Would like it of course out in front, not sure if try to move it? Moving rock not really a poss. Read about current change, but also to not bother it...... Tough area to feed and like I mentioned poor light where it is. Its 3/4 open there. Suggestions on care moving light ect ..... Thanks all!

i would say leave him for a few days he will move if hes not geting enough light. if that doesnt work you could move the light higher. flow works great but it cant stress/kill them.

The (BTA) nems are going to places they feel best for the moment and will move until they are happy. We all like them in veiw and that can happen when it gets adjusted.

It could be waterflow also more or less it may want.

I raise them and it's fun to see their moods change.

I had my bta wander behind the rocks for maybe two weeks? I figured the parameters weren't going to Hell so he must still he alive. Sure enough he came around to the front eventually and hasn't left his rock since, even if I move the rock.

Mine did the same thing, It was hidden behind a rock for close to a month. I ended up flipping the rock fed it and it ended up moving to a different spot under a rock again but at least this time it is visible and actually looks better since I am able to feed it. Im thinkin it could be the lights. It depends what kind of lighting you have, compared to what it was in before.
