so despite some warning i went and got a snowflake eel...cause i wanted one!....who has or when can i get eggcrate to cover the tank so he dosent flip out....i have a small peice og plexiglass covering the overflow and a mesh bag over the return line so he dosent slip in there but other then that im not covered (til i find the covers and those dont let light through that well)

You'll probably have to spot feed him, the one I had was blind as a bat. You should invest in some silversides, or large krill, or both. hehe They eat quite a lot.

how do u spot feed? like with tongs?? and i heard to only feed em twice a week.

twice a week will be fine, I used a piece of stiff air tubing, cut on an angle. Just speared the food with the end.
