New camera, some pics

I got myself a new camera, much better than my old one thats for sure. I got a Kodak P880 for a real good price. Its a pretty nice camera.

I've had some losses recently due to a bacteria infection that is spreading thru my zoos. I've had to throw away 4 colonies so far, and just found another one infected. I don't know if i can stop it, so these might be the last pics i have of my zoos if it keeps up. I will be getting out of the hobby if that happens, but i've got my fingers crossed i guess.

Very Nice collection! I hope everything works out for you. Do you have a Q tank for those hard to come by zoas and palys? If so move them over until you can figure out what's going on. Or find a friend you trust to hold them. I would hate to see you lose them.

Use a tri pod if you can and select macro mode when shooting just inches away. You will see a major difference. Play with your white balance a bit too to see what looks best. Sounds like a very nice camera. Congrats.

Yep thats them Marvin. They've grown nicely, i've got about 6 or 7 new polyps.

raider77 - yes i have a QT tank i need to setup, i'm thinking of moving the zoos with the problems to the QT. I had to do more cutting last night, tossed out another 30 polyps or so
